I’ve been trying to remember things, clearly remember things, from my past, but the more I try to think back, the more it all starts to unravel. None of it seems real. It’s like I’ve just been dreaming this life, and when I finally wake up, I’ll be somebody else. Somebody totally different!
Batman #25 released this week features a pretty cool Batmobile design. Some people compared it to the Plymouth Prowler. A better comparison is a ‘37 Ford Coupe Custom like the one pictured above. This one even happens to have similar colors.
On this date in 1955, lightning struck the clock tower in Hill Valley, CA, providing enough power (1.21 gigawatts) to send time traveler Marty McFly back to 1985.
Remember, remember! That James McTeigue and the Wachowski brothers adapted Alan Moore and David Lloyd’s graphic novel on the differences between anarchism and fascism, and turned it into a political allegory about post-9/11 U.S./U.K. domestic policy. Both worthy of merit, but vastly different. But inevitably led to the popularized Guy Fawkes mask from the movie being co-opted by various anti-government protest groups. Because popular culture trumps all.

Placed somewhere between a sex comedy and a romantic comedy, with a touch of special abilities, Sex Criminals from Image Comics floats in the ether of satisfaction: It comes to satisfactory completion, but some of the wonderment is lost in a very frank understanding of sexual awakening.
